CUSTOM PRACTICEReady

Make room for focus.

25:00

Timestamp-based timing. A background tab does not stop the clock.

Set up your own session

Your own timing rules. No question bank and no claim of equivalence to an official exam. 1 second–240 minutes per segment, up to 12 segments.

What would you revisit?

Your materials, your timing rules

A practice timer with a review log

Open a task from the planner to prepare its study duration, or divide your own material into timed work and break sections. The default session is 25 minutes of focused work, a 5-minute break and another 25-minute section. Change those values to fit the task you planned; the clock does not supply questions or grade answers.

  1. Choose a mode. Practice mode allows pauses. Custom simulation disables pausing so you can rehearse the timing rules you entered.
  2. Enter the sections. Use one line per section: Reading | 20 | work or Break | 5 | break. You can use up to 12 sections, each between one second and 240 minutes.
  3. Start and record. Add a material reference and a reason when something needs another look. End the session to view its timing and notes. A planner-linked session can return its work time and recent notes to the plan; you decide whether to mark the task complete.
  4. Export before moving devices. Save a session JSON backup, then restore it in this tool. The browser's local copy does not sync between devices.

Does a background tab stop the timer?

The clock uses timestamps to reconcile elapsed time when the page runs again. Browser throttling, sleep or a closed tab can delay what you see on screen. This page is not a background alarm. A backwards system-clock change is flagged so you can check the clock before continuing.

Is this an official exam simulator?

No. You provide the material, section lengths and breaks. The report records timing and your notes; it does not predict a test score, enforce an official exam environment or replace an exam provider's practice software.

How do I use the notes?

Turn a repeated mistake into a specific revision topic, estimate the minutes it needs, and add it to the exam revision planner. For example, replace a broad note such as “bad at graphs” with “explain three unfamiliar graph examples without notes.”
